I recently installed optivity 9.0.1 on a Windows 2000 advanced server and I cant get autotopoly to work. I tried a suggestion listed in one of the posts but it didn't work for me. I can use ominiview and get info for all printers, hubs, router, and servers. When autopology runs it detects my router, our isp provider's router, it then times out and stop all searches.

If all your equipment is BAY,you don't need to modify the community strings.Try setting strings to public. If Optivity has discovered your printers and id'd them correctly your community strings seem to be working.
Check your Bay routers to see if SNMP is enabled.
GOOD LUCK
