Hi I want to upgrade my IOS.
I have registered with cisco but when I go to the download page it says I am not allowed.
How do I get the new images?

I have added my flash config. I get I have 8 megs of flash memory whats the other memory or am I been thick??

System flash directory:
File Length Name/status
1 5170156 soho97-k9oy1-mz.123-2.XC2.bin
[5170220 bytes used, 2956244 available, 8126464 total]
8192K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

I believe you have to purchase a subscriber account or something. I'm with the govt so we already have a contract with Cisco. But if you don't have one, yes I think you do have to pay for it.

Thanks GeneralDzur

So I'm going to have to pay for something I thought was already on the router seems unfair. I want to use Route Bridging encapsulation. is there anyway around this?

picnmix,

If you want to do an IOS upgrade then you either have to buy the IOS or a SmartNET contract from a reseller. The SmartNET contract would allow you to download the images from CCO directly.

Hi jneiberger,
How do I do this. Where do I go and how much does it cost?

Cheers picnmix
