Hi,
I would like to know how can i configure a DNS Server in my intranet.
My intranet has 4 Pcs (1 Red Hat 8.0, 2 Windows 98 and 1 Windows XP), and has no internet connection.
I've tried to configure BIND but it doesn't work. I have no subnets. I've searching many documentation and it seams that configurations only works with an internet connection.

Hi,

You must have a subnet if you're using IP addresses - just th one.

By the sound of it, you don't need DNS - with just 4 machines what about individual host files?
