I am having speed issues accessing https sites. When i add numbers to the dns settings in tcp/ip, it makes Outlook slow down to a crawl when it tries to resolve names from the exchange server. To fix the internet issue, besides entering #'s into dns, i have to change the default gateway from the router, to the firewall. Otherwise, i can not access the internet. Is this part of the problem? Also, it works fine with Win98, the problem only happens on NT machines. Any ideas?

Modify you hosts file on the individual machines to have
the IP address then the server name. This makes a drastic
difference in the access to Outlook it does not have to resolve the name.
