Hi everyone,
In the event window of our Windows NT Server 4 we have:
DNS Server select() Function failed. The data is the error.
We have tried:
1. Installing the recommended Microsoft fix from SP2 (Dns fix)
2. Installing Microsoft's security rollup patch for Windows NT
Neither have worked.
In addition to this, when we start DNS manager and do a refresh, it hangs.
Does anyone have any further suggestions? We are considering reinstalling the DNS, but since we aren't too technical we'd appreciate some advice on reinstalling without overwriting any existing data or components if we decide to go down that road.
