DNS problem rpc server is unavailable...

i whant to install the DNS service but when i go to the domain name service manager and i do 2 click in the machine on server list i have this error message rpc server is unavailable.

what can i do? how to install rpc???
i realy need dns so thank's for any help. thanks...
 
Please explain with more information...

Do you want to install DNS on a Windows NT 4.0 SErver?

Or Do you want to be able to browse the network by double clicking on servers/workstations in NEtwrok Neighborhood?

yes i want to install one DNS server. i think that my problem is solve.
by the way what is the purpose of hading hosts to domains?
i have the dns server installed i add a server and i specified the domain (grafiti.com) then in the book that i'm using to setup the nt4 they refer that we can specify the hosts from domains.

sorry my english, :)
