Hi

*****THE CONFIGURATION*****
I have 2 servers with public ip addresses running DNS. I want to be able to configure multiple zones for mydomain.org, mydomain.net, mydomain.com etc and lots of other things.
One server is a Cobalt RAQ3 running Linux ( the other Windows 2000 ( I have the Linux box as the primary and the Windows box as the secondary. This seems to work fine if I examine the zone records on both.

*****THE PROBLEM*****
When I go to the site where my domain name is registered and enter both the DNS server urls I get the following error:-
Update Name Server error. Response Code: 480 Response Text: Command failed: unable to verify existence of nameserver Name Server error. Response Code: 480 Response Text: Command failed: unable to verify existence of nameserver
If I enter the primary and secondary nameservers the other way round I get as above but Name Server error. Response Code: 480 Response Text: Command failed: unable to verify existence of nameserver
If I turn off DNS on one of the servers I get a different error (code 465 I think)

Can somebody please tell me what I'm missing

Thanks
Chris
