Hello all,

Does anyone have any ideas on this one.

DNS over WAN without a Public Internet Root Address. Everything would be internal besides using Verizons DSL DNS Servers. Can they and will they be able to replicate and connect by this method. In other words I am planning to create zones and domain controllers internally and have a pointer point to the verizon dns for internet. My zones and domain controllers will access each other by VPN over DSL.

Does this sound right for this is my first time projecting this out.

Thanks

It sounds OK to me. I would use Active Directory Integrated DNS and you will need Forwarders to the Verizon DNS. Other than that, I think you should be fine...

Thanks,
