When someone plugs in a laptop into our network and gets an ip we are not getting dns to update fast enough.. Is there any way I can fix this?

Thanks

What type of domain/DNS/WINS structure are you running? What is not happening fast enough?

Have you tried running ipconfig /registerdns from the client?

WINDOWS 2003 Active Directory domain. Active Directory intergrated dns. Computers are not pinging with correct name for a while sometimes like a day. These are remote computers so It would be hard for me to run ipconfig on them.
