I'm not very experienced with this so hopefully someone can shed some light on the subject for me...
I've set up a domain (mydomain.com) on Win 2k3, now I would like to start receiving emails, however I also setup a linux box that I want to used for spam filtering. So when I send an email to user@mydomain.com, I want it to first go to my linux spam filter and then be handed to my Win2k3 server (were my xmail client is handling the mail).
Currently I have it working were it is going directly to my Win2k3 server. Can someone explain to me how I should have my host, alias, and mx records set up to do the above?
I'm using godaddy.com's Total DNS to control DNS propogation. Also my linux box is named filter.mydomain.com". I'm also running a PIX firewall, in case you need to know that.
Thanks in advance,
J
