DNS: multiple host names per IP address?

Why are unused host names still showing up in Forward Lookup Zones\Mydomain.net? They are occupying IP address assigned to valid hosts.

use aging and scavaging, or how you may spell that :)

I think you nailed it. Scavenge stale resource records was unchecked.
