I think I'm missing something in my configuration and it's driving me nuts.

I have a new web server in my DMZ that has a nice and can access that from the outside world no problem - when I try and access the site from inside the company (behind my firewall) I get site not found.

I've added a new zone on my DNS server (for internal use only) for websitename.com and added the a host record (A) and when, on the DNS server I open IE and type - it works. From a PC that's using the DNS server though - it doesn't.

Have I Missed something... or done something wrong?

Thanks in advance

Lee

Run an 'ipconfig /all' on the PC that doesn't work, and ensure the first DNS servers entry is the IP of the DNS server where you added the A record. Then, run an 'ipconfig /flushdns' and retry opening the site in IE.
