Hi,

We have internet access through a ISA 2000 server and DNS set up as a root server so no forwarding. We have no problems accessing any external sites apart from says page cannot be displayed. If i ping the website from my mailsweeper which has direct out access i get the IP and if i use that internally on my pc it works fine, so if i use IP its fine, but by name no joy.

The site works fine from home so thats ok. I think its a DNS issue but not sure where to start.

Help

Chris

Working fine for me.

Try these sites:

They might be able to give you some more information.

Also, try running a traceroute using the dns name, and not the IP address, see if that resolves.

Tried Tracert, goes out through my internet gateway and seems to get lost in the internet.

Ill try those sites....

Cheers,

Chris
