Im am currently setting up a new primary DNS server using W2K. How do I import my current Domain Names to the new server????

ps. The old server is also running W2K server

Set the old server up todo a zone transfer to the new server.

I would setup the new server as a secondary server for your zone once you done that. Tell the primary server that there is a secondary server on the network. When the primary server updates it should send a copy of the zone to the secondary server. You will have to add the server IP to the zone transfer box which is located under properties of the zone > zone trasnfer tab. Once it has transferred the zone to the server shutdown the Primary DNS server and change the secondary server into the primary server.

I dont know if there is another way of doing it.
