I've just set up a Win2000 server on our very small network. It is a domain controller and has DNS and DHCP set up on it. I have also installed WinRoute on the server so the rest of the machines on the network can use the ADSL line connected to the server. This is where my problem comes in.
If I point my machines to the network DNS server, then they access the DNS on the internet. If I give them my ISP's DNS servers address, then they don't use my DNS server.
I want my DNS server to forward any requests it can't answer to my ISP's DNS server, but in the MMC for DNS the forwarding options are disabled for my server, because it is a root server.
Help! What do I do?
