Do I need some settings in DNS in order to receive mail from a domain email alias? I've set everything up in Exchange 2003 correctly, we can send and receive mail internally to the alias, but I can't get any mail in from the outside that is sent to that alias.
MX and A records have been setup to point to our mail server.
The alias has a website hosted by Verio, so I've used their zone tool to make the changes. The NS servers are still theirs, but everything I've read says that the mail alias should still work, even though we have a different IP.
Any ideas?

Some mailsystem does not like that mx is pointing to an ip-address.

Use this:

mail.example.se. IN A 192.168.0.10
example.se. IN MX mail.example.se.

The same with subdomains.

corp.example.se. IN MX mail.example.se.

Thanks,GunnarD, for the suggestion. It turned out to be the spam filter not letting the alias in.
