Hello,
I'm having a little trouble with my pix to pix vpn with two servers that share the same domain. About six months ago, we decided to split two servers that were both DCs from the same domain. Up until yesterday, these two servers have been in contact between themselves. Yesterday, we created a pix to pix vpn with 2 Cisco 501s.
Site A
Pix : 192.168.1.88
IOS 6.3(4)
Site B
Pix : 192.168.0.88
IOS 6.2(3) I think...
Now my vpn functions partially. From either Sites, i'm able to access the other site's shares ONLY through it's IP. However, site A outlook clients are able to contact the exchange server at site by through it's hostname. Pings from either sites to the other doesn't work. I don't have any specific access-lists that would block anything. I also noticed replications haven't been working eventhough the vpn has been established. Where so I start looking. I guess the most immediate problem is to solve the DNS issues. I will post a config dump when I get a chance.
Thanks
