DNS events 5501, 5504 and 9999 even after "fixing" it?

Ok, I posted this a few days ago, but perhaps I posted too many errors/questions in one post and no one responded, so I'll take it slow...

Environment:
1 AD enabled PDC running RRAS, and DNS.
8 Clients all W2k Pro

Event viewer filling up (and I do mean FILLING up) with DNS 5504, 5501 and 9999. Ive already checked eventid.net, and read the microsoft articles Q198757, Q199792. Ive made the specified registry changes, and have checked the box in DNS "Prevent DNS cache pollution" but Im still getting these 5504, 5501, and 9999 very, VERY frequently. Any ideas?

wow...this is an internal DNS server only? are you using forwarders via your ISP? or just straight out to the internet? can this server be accessed from the internet?
