Hi,
This might be a repeated question. we have an offsite machine, and have an offsite DNS server (running in NT 4.0). the DNS entry (name and ipaddress) in the offsite DNS server are correct. I am able to get to the website whenever I am in offsite network.
In the office network. I have an Windows Server 2003, DNS. the previous administrator has entered the IP address wrong. I corrected the entry restarted the DNS server. deleted the cache and refreshed the server, updated server data files. still whenever I ping, it shows the previous Ip address. the corrected IP address doesnt show whenver I ping. I used nslookup it says the correct ipaddress for the name now. but still whenever I ping, I am getting errors. please correct me.
