DNS dynamic update pending!

I have a situation with my DHCP that i have noticed, my clients icon are changing to picture of pc with a ink pen symbol over it.. This means the following according to technet : Active lease, DNS dynamic update pending. This address is not available for lease by the DHCP server.

why are they changing like this? there are no errors in the event log..

on another network i have the icons in DHCP are mostly pc's.

I have compared the settings in both networks but i fail to see any difference.
