DNS doesn't resolve locally hosted website.

I have a small 2k3 AD domain in my home. I installed IIS and created a website on one of the servers.

From an external source I can resolve the name and see the web site.

From an internal source I am getting a Page Cannot Be Displayed Error.

The local zone is 123.local and the local DNS is working fine.

The dns for the domain 123.com is being hosted elsewhere and for obvious reasons works fine. Externally but not locally...please help.

Is the name of your webserver www? Instead of trying to go to

http://www.123.com,

try typing in the local hostname instead. Or have you put a static host entry into your DNS? You can tell

http://www.123.com

to point to 192.168.1.x or whatever...
