dns client issues

exchange 2ksp 2- we have made a few dns changes recently including adding some eternal forwarders on our internal dns server now exchange keeps playing up clents will suddenly get no exchange server found on network- this is cured by stopping/starting dns client on the exchange box?? but will happen in about an hours time again?? also losing and very slow to deliver internal mmail??
any help is much appreciated
