I created an Intranet on my DC along with a new DNS A record to point my DC's IP Address to this works fine for computers logged on to the domain, but for computers (like my laptop) not on the domain or computers that come in from the VPN, they have to use How can I rectify this issue so all computers can use just I would rather not use HOST files.

Thank you.

It sounds like you just created a new A record for bridgegroup.net inside the existing zone file for the other domain. And since your internal systems are already using bridgerealestategroup.local as the DNS suffix, they are appending that last part automagically without you knowing. For your external systems, you might as well be trying to connect to (yes, that looks strange, doesn't it?)

To make this work, you need to create a forward lookup zone for bridgegroup.net in your DNS and create a blank A record that points to the IP that you've set up. Then the server will be able to resolve the query for those external clients.
