Recentely one of the websites that we used to access changed their IP address. Therefore I had to chance the information in my DNS server. I have removed the entry but have not been able to create the pointer. (some reason everything is greayed out) I have added the pointer in the reverse lookup folder.
When I ping that address from the DNS server it gives me the correct IP/name and I am able to browse the website.
I have rebooted a PC and tried to ping that address and it gives me the old IP address. Therefore I cannot get to the website I need.
Anyone could explain how to add corrrectly an entry in the DNS server?
The NT4 DNS server used to be a cake. 2000, I am a bit confused. Everything is grayed out when selecting properties.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
