Hello,
I am really here as a little reasurance. I have a network I am building as follows:
2621 router eth0> PIX1 > dmz1
eth1 > PIX 2 > dmz2 + corp network
pix 2 has 3 interfaces
anyway I have a relay server for mail and some apps that need to talk to dmz2 from dmz1 and corp (relay)
so far i have setup rip ver2 and advertised all 3 networks. for gateway on the dmz's (pix e0) i use the 2621 eth interfaces. My Question is will the relay server on dmz1 (for example) know to go to the gateway (2621 eth0) and then know to go to eth1 on the router to get to the corp network? If not do i need some kind of a static routing statement on the router? Thanks any advice is helpful

The server would only know its default gateway, and it's the default gateway that needs to know how to route the traffic across the two subnets
