DLO backing up logged off users: how to do?

I'm presently evaluating the DLO. My company is using Backup Exec 9.1 for server backup to a Sony tape drive, but I have a test server set up live on the network to evaluate the impact DLO will have.

How can I store end user credentials so that when they log off at the end of the day BE can still perform the backup? I've seen the option once, but it hasn't shown up on the other set-ups.

The second question I have is this: is there a way to install hot fixes without having to re-run the setup.exe file each time on every computer? This seems quite intense when you start introducing 400 plus clients.

The user needs to be logged on to be able to do the backup with DLO, no way around it.
Though you can setup to run the backup when the user logs in or when they log off.
Would be best if you schedule the backups to happen or have it backup as files change.

The only way to deplay the hotfixes to the remote clients is to install the whole thing, again no way around this at the moment.
Possibly Veritas will come up with something in the future.

There has only been 1 hotfix for DLO since it came out, nearly a year now - don't expect too many more, as there is a complete new version coming out with BEWS 10.
