I have made an external CDINI - It diverts on busy but not on no reply. Anyone got a fix! BC9

5699 is a hunt group with one extension 5381. the hunt group is cdinied to the route dest 4100 (aspect call centre).
The problem is not limited to these numbers -- I have the highest CAT and diversion on no reply EXTERNALLY doesn't work.

If you want diversion on no-answer, you have to also assign the same diversion point for the hunt group members. The hunt group pilot number diverts based on the SEL parameter and the diversion point for the pilot.

If the divert is for an external destination, it will not divert off of the MD110 IF it has already rung a position on the exchange. (So RTNR will not work)

I beleive that there are patches to deal with this but obviously there will be charges associated.

Some form of CTI may also be able to handle this for you or an upgrade to BC12 to allow Personal Number which can do this.

Actually as i think about it, you could divert the call into voicemail and have voicemail re-route the call onto the new external destination.

.. I have recalled this from memory, but i am sure it's accurate.. we used to have lots of similar issues at BC9.
