Hi all,
Our W2K and XP clients have mapped drives setup through profiles. They work fine apart from one very important problem. After a small period of time (maybe 30 minutes), the mapped drives become disconnected (the little red x) due to inactivity. If you double-click on the link, it reestablishes itself fine, but some of our key production apps (including ACrobat) have difficulty if the link has reset, causing errors.
I have seen this difficulty before with W2K and XP connecting to NT4, and there was a command line utility that allowed you to reset the timeout period to greater than 30 minutes. It worked a treat... but now, some 12 months later, I cannot find the link... does anyone know how I can remedy this situation? Quickly?
