Distribution Points not updating

Hello,

I've got a 2ry Site server which cannot update it's Distro point. The DP is on a BDC machine (NT4 Domain) and the 2ry site is in a trusted domain. I suspect it's permissions related but I can't isolate the problem.

Inbox Manager is showing loads of 3600 Errors trying to access the CAP but I don't see any problems with the CAP. Incidentally none of the other 2 CAP's have this problem.

However none of the DP's are updating and the clients are not getting the packages.

You'll have to look at the site server SMS logs. SMS is very detailed in its logging. Do you see any errors?

As a quick try to resolve the problem, go into the SMS site settings and uncheck the problematic 2ndary server as DISTRIBUTION POINT. Wait an hour or so and the recheck it as a dist. point.

Okay, thanks. I'll try the 2ndary server as DISTRIBUTION POINT thing and have a fish through the logs.
