Hello,

Here is my story.

I create a distribution group for my company wide email. Everyone is part of that disribution group. My question: Can i limit the users so that they are not able to send email out. Byside only managers and higher.

thanks

A distribution group is not a security group. You can limit who sends external mail, but you would not use this distribution group to do this...

Research outbound securtiy from the Advance Tab on the SMTP Connector and the Delivery Restrictions Tab.

Do you mean only certain people can send emails to that group? Yes, there is a tab for this.

If you mean use it to restrict who can send to the Internet? No, you'd use a security group and apply that to the SMTP connector.
