Distribute Icon to users desktops

Hi,

I want to distribute a .url link icon to users desktops. I thought I would be able to do this through group policy, but can't see how. I can see how to install .msi's, but creating a package for a single icon seems a bit overkill.

Is there a simple way?

You may use COPY command in logon scripts

You can configure this with Group Policy under the Active Desktop settings in User Configuration.

E-mail a batch file and tell the users to save to disk, and tell them to browse to desktop? I've done this in the past. Just faster and easier. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
