Yes. Select both and group them. Other than that put them inside a Frame and make them inline objects.

I actually want to have a style format, that - when I have an image or table on my page - and I want to add a legend and a number, that this text block (with the style "legend") automatically finds it position towards the image or table.
Do you think such is possible?
Similar, is it possible having auto-numbering (auto increasing numbers at tables / images and f.i. like
figure 1.2 and later on (in ch.2) then having automaically figure 2.1, figure 2.1 etc?
