Hi,

I'm working on my senior project and I need to be able to display real-time video in a gui I write. I've been trying to decide what might be the best tool to do this.

How feasible is it to do this in directx?

Would anyone recommend a tool like opencv or video OCX? (From what I understand these tools use directx)

Does anyone know a good directx resource for this specific topic?

While I'm here: (Off Subject) Can anyone recommend a fairly inexpensive web or pc cam that uses USB 2.0 and has a 60 degree field of view and fast enough for real time?

Thanks for your help
