Hi,

I've been asked to find a way of displaying messages at the CTRL ALT DEL screen.

The reasoning behind this is to allow users to know when software patches have been successfully installed on the workstation we need some way of displaying a message saying

All patches installed, you may now login or something similar!

I'll admit to being completely stuck on this one and they need to know if it's possible asap so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Gareth

You can use the messaging service. In your group security policy's. Go into your Group Policy and then Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local Policies, Security Options and then Set Message Title first and then Message Text. Make sure you set these policies on the o/u that the staff are all in. This will then come up when they press ctrl alt del and they have to click ok to it.
