Displaying images in Access 2002

Greetings,

Why do images that display when a form loads OK (size mode property is "stretch") in Access 97 but fail to display after converted to Access 2002. The only fix I could get the images to appear is to resize (scale down) them to what is on the forms and reference the image file (.bmp) and set the size mode property to "clip".

Any information is gratefully appreciated.
