This is a purely cosmetic question. I have a text field in one of my tables in access, instead of writing half day holiday I want it to display 1/2 day holiday, just instead of displaying what I have just written I want the Fraction 1/2 to have a horizontal line between the numerator and the denominator. If you can do it in Word for example then I could past it in, I tried Excel fraction formatting, however it comes out as 1/2. I suppose it my old fashoined english schoolboy outlook on life that has driven me to this, how sad, but still can anyone help.

Lord Exell,

This is an option that works...

Hold down the <Alt> key, and enter the number 171 - will give you ½ .

172 will give you ¼

Hope this helps :)
