Hi,

Does anyone know how to insert a custom sized box using a formula?? If a certain field is populated?

Something like:
-------------------------------

If {table1.Item} = 1
then "DISPLAY BOX?????????"
else ""

-------------------------------
Any idea's?

Thnx,
Jonathan

Can you draw the box in paint or something and save it as a bitmap?

Then, you could insert the bitmap into your report design. Right click on the bitmap, go to Format Graphic. Click on the formula button to the right of Suppress check box on the Common tab. Enter this formula:

{table1.item} = 1

Then, the graphic only displays if {table1.item} <> 1.

You can put a conditional border on an empty text object. Ken Hamady, On-site/Phone Crystal Reports Training/Consulting

Borders can be conditional, so create a large text object, the size of the box you want to display, and then turn the border on or off via a conditional format.
