Hi,

We have a system with several DS1 PRI connections to our provider. When a call comes in without a number the IPphone shows the trunk name and trunk TAC.

Is it possible to change this ?
We can live with the trunk name but the TAC ...
This happens frequent with mobile numbers because a lot of people are not sending their number when they calling.

Thanks,

Take a look at the name of the trunks, you may find that the TAC is part of the name. I changed the name on our trunk to "Caller ID Unavailable". All you should need to do is enter the command ch tr (trunk #) and change the Group Name field.

The TAC is not a part of the name. But the system puts the TAC behind the name. This is default.

In the mean time I found the solution. On the second page you can change the parameters: "replace restricted" and "replace unavailable" => these settings points to the system features page (9th page)

Here you can fill in a name that will be shown on the phone when the provider doesn't send you a number.

I filled in "private" and this works fine.
