Hi,

I need to identify 100 stations. Is there a way to use a FAC to bring the extension number of a station up on the the phone display.

I know I can call another phone and see what number comes up; but I have 100 that I need to look at, so it would be easier if I can find out from each individual phone.

Thanks

Found it myself, it's a great wee feature.

Turn on "Self STation Display" throught the ch sys fea command

Then add the FAC code, dial the fac on the station and up comes the extension and port number.

Yes, that's a great feature. I also use the vector outlined in faq690-4624 for non-display phones.

Carry a cordless phone (that is set up to display caller-id), change your TTI COR to allow you to call any station, and then from the TTI phone call the cordless and it will display port information...

Thanks,
