In VB5 when I compiled my project and an unhandled error occurred a runtime error would be displayed before the program closed down. Now in VB6 when an unhandled error occurs no error message is displayed and the program shuts down leaving the user a little confused.

Is there an option somewhere that sets whether the error is displayed or not??

Thanks

DJ.

There's no difference between VB5 and VB6 that I know of. My first suspicion would be that I had disabled the error handler somewhere with an on error resume next without realizing it.

I'm afraid not. The project I'm working with is quite large (over 500 forms and modules) so there must be a greater issue. I obviously get the errors while I'm in development mode but once I have built the project and it has been distributed to our customers the errors are no longer displayed.
