Display results of a query on a calender..

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum for this question so i'm gonna stick it in the coding one as well..

Basically I have a holidays database that people in my office use for booking holidays. I need to provide them with a graphical representation maybe in the form of a calender so that they can see who is off on a particular day..

Does anybody have any ideas on how to go about approaching this problem as I am completely stuck...
