Is it possible to display a report in a form window? I have a form from which users will select parameters that will result in a schedule. It would be nice if they could see the results in part of the form window and modify their criteria until they get what they want.

I'm relatively new to Access and would appreciate any direction.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

In answer to your question, no you cannot display a report within a form. You can however open the report from the form (i.e. when you click on the "Show Report" button or whatever, it will open the relevant report).

To do this use the code:

Docmd.OpenReport "Reportname", acViewPreview

Hope this helps with your database!

Thanks, Simon. It was just a thought. It's good to find out this can't be done without spending the time required to come to the conclusion on my own.

Regards,

Jeff
