Hi,

I recently changed the Display Name on the extensions in my company from blank to the person's name using LD 95. This works fine for internal calls now, however when making calls to external phones I want the company name to be displayed and not the Display Name associated with the extension of the caller. Is there a way to do this?

your phone company has to do this for you. you can only control certain CLID features, the rest is done by Telco.

Close as I can get If you are sending the LD 95 name to the public network along with the clid then your pri has the feature Name Delivery Usually set up to only receive the name and clid of public caller, but if cls of set as described below, then network would pass your Ld 95 name.

The ISDN QSIG Supplementary Service - Name Display feature, supports
the following Name Display supplementary services across an ISDN QSIG
network:
• Calling Name Identification Presentation (CNIP). This service is
offered to the called party, to provide the name of the calling party. Once
configured, CNIP is permanently activated.
CNIP is based on the Class of Service of the originating phone, as
configured in LD 10 or LD 11. If the Class of Service prompt is
configured as Name Presentation Allowed (NAMA), the name of the
calling party is displayed on the phone of the terminating party. If the
Class of Service prompt is set to Name Presentation Denied (NAMD), or
if the calling party name is not available (due, for example, to the name
not being registered, or because of call interworking), then CNIP is not
able to provide the caller’s name to the called party.
Note: To restrict the presentation of a calling party on ISDN BRI
phones, the Presentation (PRES) prompt in LD 27 is set to NO. This
applies for the other Name Display supplementary services as well.
• Connected Name Identification Presentation (CONP). This service
