Hi all,

I have a spreadsheet with a lot of columns dedicated to different calculations. The formulas yield results as you would expect but the problem arises when you need to print the data a discuss with others. It takes time to explain to all the formulas used to calculate each cell. In know I can manually type the formula referencing each cell but the cell references will change every time I add or remove a column.

What I need is to display the formula for that column on the first row, and then in following rows display the result.

Using tools>options>views>formulas displays all the cells as formulas which I do not want.

Thanks
Owen

change the 1st row to text
Go "into" the cell (click in it or the formula bar
then come back out again

et voila

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

to change it back to the result, format as anything other than text and perform the same action
