Hello,

I have a number of kiosks and need to display their DNS name on the web pages they provide access to. Instead of putting a placard on each kiosk we have, I thought this would be a better approach. The best I've been able to find so far is the client's IP using server variables. I need the actual DNS computer name to display on my kiosk home page.

Any quick snippets of code or a link to the answer would be great, and very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

aha! i was assuming this was what you were after.

I need the actual DNS computer name to display on my kiosk home page.

enabling reverse DNS lookup on IIS does cause a performance hit as well btw.
