ANI was activated yesterday on our PBX. Currently, when a call comes in the display reads: a= CALL FROM (on first line of display) and the caller's number on the second. The caller's name is somehere hidden from view and flashes briefly when the call is ended or the call is bounced to voice mail. Is there a way to have the caller's number displayed on the first line of display and the caller's name displayed on the second line?

It sounds like you may have the wrong phone set type defined for the phone you are having trouble with. Take a look and make sure that if (for example), it's an 8410D phone that it is programmed in the switch as an 8410D. That's the only thing that pops into my mind.

My phone types are all correct. I think it's something in the trunk form.

Hi
If you have ISDN-PRI trunk check the field send name -(should be Yes) in the trunk group forms of both ends. Be sure that calling numbers correctly entered into the change isdn-public forms of both ends. And check the field Service type on first page of the trunk groups. For right name sending it should be tie(best result for Definity-Definity link) if you have public you may have a problem with name display for different switches connection.
