I have an Access 2.0 backend database just over 5MB in size on an NT4 server. I use Access97 as the front end on a Windows 98 workstation. Recently, my application started locking up and giving a Disk or Network error message whenever we were doing simple data entry. Usually, only one user at a time accesses the database and the rest of the network is fine. No other users report problems with other applications at the same time.
The Access 2.0 backend database gets corrupted and I have to repair it, then I can continue. Can anyone tell me what is causing this problem? I cannot convert the Access 2.0 database since I need it to access Btrieve data via the provided ISAM drivers.
