I have an Access2.0 database that is now 4MB in size and is usually accessed via Access97. Recently, I have been getting a "disk or network" error that eventually causes me to repair and compact my database every time.
I just recently changed my network card since I thought that that was the problem but I am still getting the error. When this error occurs, I cannot close Access97.
I need to use the Access2.0 database since I have to import Btrieve data using the ISAM Btrieve driver that came only with Access2.0. I also tried running the proram from a different computer, and although the error does not occur as freuqntly, it still occurs. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? The error occurs when I am doing data entry into the database.
