Disk losing 300MB per day

Running Windows 2003 server on a DELL 6850 Poweredge connected to a SAN. I've noticed that the SAN drive is losing 300MB a day but the files are not getting bigger? VSS is turned off and disabled.

Any ideas

Most likely logging of some kind on the SAN device. Some of them will have file access automatically logged. Others will have things similar to shadow copies running for quick restores.
