Hello
When I attempt to connect to one of the servers in the farm today (citrixXP/windows2000 server). I get the following.

Windows Cannot log you on because the profile cnanot be loaded

Detail --- There is not enough space on the disk..

I have checked the server and there is plenty of space on the drive in which the profiles are stored.

What else can I check..
I will run a disk clean up but what would cause this to happen.
its a 40 GIG Raid config and I have about 2% free

Any Ideas...

Thanks

I think the fact that you only have 2% free should answer the question. Profles like anything else require temp space to be loaded. You either needto clean a considerable amount of stuff of your RAID drives or increase the size.

Sounds like the profiles could do with being trimmed down as well. If they're bigger than 10Mb then they're way too big. I like to keep mine below 5Mb.

At one site I visited recently, a user who had major speed-related issues turned out to have a profile that was 5Gb in size!

Hope this helps

Thanks for the help,

How should I trim then with a log in script or is there another way..

Use Policies to redirect folders to a file server, so that, (for example) My Documents is physically located in the Home dir.

Hope this helps
